On Wednesday 4 December 2013 environmental investigator Paul Mobbs delivered a review of the Government’s policies on unconventional gas in Britain, and how these fit into the greater issue of resource depletion and growth. Experience from around the world indicates that both the pollution and human health impacts are a significant issue in the development of unconventional gas. This presentation will focus on the large environmental issues, beyond carbon/climate, that a national roll-out of unconventional gas portends.
